2 Jordan Unversty of Scence and Technology (JUST) ntends to fulfll ts needs of mantanng the Fully Integrated Lbrary RFID System wth Securty Gates n central lbrary. Ths document s an nvtaton for qualfed bdders to offer ther mantenance and support contract soluton to accommodate all the requrements as descrbed n ths document. It wll be the bdder s sole responsblty and on hs own expenses to understand the ste nature and envronment and all requrement that are related to the tender or that may nfluence t's prcng... The bdder s requested to vst the work ste and be acquanted wth ste condtons. Submsson of a tender by a bdder mples that he had read these nstructons and has made hmself aware of the scope of the work condtons and the unversty wll not, therefore, bear any extra charges on any account, n case the bdder fnds later on to have msjudged the ste condtons..3. The bdder wll be fully responsble for verfyng any nformaton that may be made avalable to hm. Under no crcumstances wll JUST be deemed responsble for the consequences of any such offered nformaton..4. Bdders requrng further nformaton or clarfcatons may notfy JUST n wrtng at Central Tenderng Department, JUST wll respond n wrtng to any request for nformaton or clarfcaton of the bed..5. To assst n the examnaton, evaluaton and comparson of bds, JUST may at hs dscreton ask the bdder for a clarfcaton of hs bd. Such clarfcaton shall be n wrtng and no change n the prce or substance of the bd shall be sought offered or permtted. The bdder response to any request for clarfcaton of the bd proposal must be receved no later than 5 workng days..6. JUST wll determne to ts satsfacton whether the bdder selected as havng submtted the lowest-evaluated responsve bd s qualfed to satsfactorly perform the project..7. The determnaton wll take nto account the bdder s fnancal, techncal and producton capabltes. It wll be based upon an examnaton of the documentary evdence of the bdder s

3 qualfcatons submtted by the bdder as well as such other nformaton that JUST deems necessary and approprate..8. An affrmatve determnaton wll be a prerequste for award of the tender to the bdder. A negatve determnaton wll result n rejecton of the bdder s bd..9. JUST wll award the tender to the successful bdder whose bd has been determned to be the most proper responsve bd, provded further that the bdders s determned to be qualfed to satsfactorly perform the Contract..0. If any Item needed (SW and HW) durng the Mantenance and was not stated n the offer; then t s the bdder s responsblty to provde t at no cost.. All prces should be n JD, clear and nclude all taxes... All prces and notatons must be prnted n nk or typewrtten. No erasures are permtted..3. JUST has the rght to cancel the tender wthout gvng reasons and wthout ncurrng any fnancal or legal clams from any of the bdders partcpatng n the tender. 3) Bdders Qualfcatons Bdder should have enough experence wth Fully Integrated Lbrary RFID System wth Securty Gates and should have certfed techncal staff to do the support. Name, experence, certfcates and CVs of the staff (full tme employees) who wll do the support should be ncluded. References for smlar projects wth contact detals should be submtted along wth the offer. A detaled profle of the bdder must be attached wth the offer. 4) Mantenance and support requrements. Mantenance and Support servces are the practce to mantan the Fully Integrated Lbrary RFID System wth Securty Gates so that the solutons can perform ts functon day-to-day effectvely and effcently. The bdder shall ensure the tems/systems avalablty 4x7x365. All equpment, hardware, and software components should be mantaned for One () year startng from the date of sgnng the contract. 3 After the ntal mantenance perod, the bdder shall provde mantenance and support servces wth detaled terms based on annual bass.

4 4 Offer of mantenance must nclude a clear way and contact nformaton that JUST techncal team can use n case of problems. 5 Mantenance offer should nclude 4x7 contact methods for partal or complete system falures, and how to create and track a support tcket. 6 Total value of the offered contract wll be dvded and be pad n three equal nstallments, one every four months, attached wth the requred sgned mantenance reports for that perod. 7 Offer of mantenance must be clear and the bdder must show hs commtment for dong the followng: Response tme for a problem call. Response tme for problem solvng. Response tme for a software/confguraton support call. Response tme for solvng software/confguraton support call. Response tme for a hardware/software falure. Actons that wll be taken durng a hardware/software falure. Response tme for faled hardware replacements. Perodc mantenance and preventve vsts. 8 Mantenance actvtes should comprse of: Re-nstallaton and reconfguraton of all components and the assocated software, requred due to any reason. Provdng all labor, tools, materals, spare devces, equpment and the replacements of all parts necessary to mantan the tem/soluton. The bdder shall mantan adequate stock of spare unts for replacement, components/spares, consumables, etc., to mnmze downtme All nspecton, montorng, adjustment, dagnoss, analyss, testng, patch mplementatons and updates/upgrades. The bdder shall try to antcpate defects, based on the alerts and take proactve actons to prevent occurrence of actual defects, wherever possble and to rectfy defects n mnmum tme. 4) Exstng equpment
